The City History Museum is a living museum that opens out to the city. It is dynamic and encourages participation.The City History Museum is housed in a building which has of itself a historical past behind it.

The religious counterpart of the Museum of Art. The Museu Capitular features excellent specimens of medieval religious artworks, such as the manuscript of the Beatus of Girona dating back to 975 AD and the Tapestry of the Creation from the 12 th century.

The Art Museum of Girona is the result of the joint presentation of some pieces from the collection of the Old Provincial Museum of Antiques and Fine arts and some others from the collection of the Diocesan Museum.

It is one of the few museums where you can journey through the 500 years of the history of images, seeing what were the predecessors and the origins of the cinema. On show are the techniques and the visual spectacles from the beginnings of the 7th art up to the arrival of television.

The Dalí Theatre-Museum, the largest surrealistic object in the world, occupies the building of the former Municipal Theatre, a 19th century construction which was destroyed at the end of the Spanish Civil War. On its ruins, Dalí decided to create his museum.
