La Malcontenta Hotel has been restored, while keeping the rustic-style of the original rural mansion. Decorated in a classic, but minimalist style, the hotel interior is spacious and well-lit. The rooms open out onto large terraces, where you can sit back and admire the peaceful, natural setting. Stroll around the hotel’s gardens that open out into the surrounding countryside, and take a relaxing dip in the cool waters of the swimming pool.
From La Malcontenta you can easily reach the beaches and attractive, little sandy coves of the Costa Brava coastline. Nearby Girona is also a must-see, with its impressive Gothic Quarter.

Food & beverage
The hotel’s restaurant is surrounded by large wooden-framed windows, contrasting with the ceiling beams and the Parisian chandelier. The tables are decorated with white table cloths, and the walls with 18th-century, French screens.
The restaurant serves traditional, regional cuisine. It is open for lunch from 13.00 to 15.30 and from 20.00 to 22.30 for dinner. You can enjoy the lunchtime set menu from Monday to Friday. On the outdoor terrace you can enjoy an aperitif or a coffee.
Breakfast is served in the hotel everyday from 08.00 to 11.00.
From November until March the restaurant will be closed on Sunday night and all day Monday.

La Malcontenta is situated within the picturesque Torre Mirona landscape, in Castell - a protected natural area and with some of the finest, untouched beaches on the Costa Brava.
From this hotel you can visit the cities of Girona, where you can walk around the fantastic, old Gothic Quarter. Figueras is also only 30 minutes drive from here, where a visit to the Dalí Museum is an absolute must.
Cancellation Policy
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.
